There was no internet on Halloween night and I forgot to post it yesterday, so here it is from Wednesday!
The first hour of class today was Informatics, and since I
didn’t have the computer, I did Sudoku, like always. The next subject was Art and I continued working on my
Sudoku puzzle through that class as well.
I was stuck on a really difficult one, and during the break, one of my
friends tried to help me solve it, but it seemed impossible! After break, we had Physics and I
thought I would be able to do Sudoku in that class too, but she ended up giving
a test and she gave me an English version as well. I have no idea how she figured that I would be able to do it
when she’s been having me do other things in that class, and I don’t understand
anything. I stared at the paper
for a good 10 minutes until she came over and told me to try it. I told her I didn’t know how, and she
acted surprised. Then she let me
use someone else’s binder for the formulas, but I still couldn’t understand the
symbols. She would tell me to
write something down and I would, but once she left, I would just sit
there. When everyone was done with
their tests, she finally collected mine, and it was pretty much a blank
paper. I hadn’t solved any of the
problems. The last two hours of
class were Italian and my friend and I went to get the computer. I did my Rotary reflection for the whole
two hours.
After lunch, I relaxed for a while and then I went to my two
hour Italian lesson. After lessons
I was dropped off at home, but when I rang the doorbell, nobody unlocked the
outside door, so I sat outside in the freezing cold for about 10 minutes until
somebody went outside and I was able to get in. Then I rang the doorbell by the apartment door about 5 times
and still nobody answered. I went
back outside and to the pizza place below the apartments. I asked if I could use the lady’s phone
in very broken Italian because mine didn’t have any money on it. When Lorena answered she said she was
at home and when I went back upstairs, she said she was just in the bathroom. What an adventure to get into the
house!
I did some more relaxing at home and then we had
dinner. Afterwards, I was
frantically messaging my friends because I hadn’t decided what I was going to
do for Halloween night yet. I was
going to go with one group of friends, but they ended up going to another city,
so I wasn’t permitted to go. I got
a hold of one of my class friends at the last minute and I ended up meeting her
in Matelica. We went to the pub
place and then we went to the disco.
My first time! There were
so many people and it was definitely an interesting and fun experience. I kept laughing because most of the
music being played was in English and everybody was singing along.
Roberto picked me up at 3 and now I am home and tired. Good thing I don’t have school
tomorrow. I get to sleep in on a
Thursday!
Buonanotte!
