I felt like I actually accomplished something at school today. The first class was informatics, and since the teacher downloaded that English tutorial, I am able to understand what it is teaching me! The next class was art and since the teacher realized that I can't really do anything relating to drawing, he told me to read about the Renaissance and then write a summary about what I read in Italian. After the break, there was 3 hours of Italian because there was a class test that I guess would take 3 hours to finish. I had emailed my Rotary Speech to myself, so I spent about 2 hours copying down what I had on my email, onto a piece of paper because it was both the English version and the google translated version of my speech. Then I finally decided to do the Chemistry quiz that I was supposed to do at home. I finished that, I just have to translate it to Italian, unless the teacher is okay with it in English. I will find out tomorrow. The last 30 minutes of class, I worked on my Renaissance summary and I only have another paragraph to go before it is finished, but I have until Saturday. I felt like I was in the groove today with my schoolwork since I haven't had to do anything for a long time and it was something familiar.
After lunch, I watched a little bit of tv and then I worked on more of my Renaissance homework until I had to leave for my Italian lessons. Today we had 2 hours of Italian and we are finally starting to learn past tense verbs, which I feel is going to help me a lot with being able to start speaking Italian better! The last 45 minutes of the lesson was spent trying to correct all of the errors in my google translated speech. It was a lot of work, but we finally got it done. All I have to do is write the final draft with all of the corrections. I'm going to save that for tomorrow when I have nothing to do in class.
After lessons, I went to the gym and then I came home for dinner. I may possibly get to bed before 11:30 tonight, but that's if I don't get caught up in the book I'm reading, which is Into the Wild, in English.
Buonanotte!
