Lazy Sunday

Today's blog is going to mighty short because I didn't really do anything.  It was a lazy Sunday.  I woke up at 11 and I had breakfast by myself because my host parents went to their country house.  Then I took a shower and just relaxed for a while.  Janie and I were going to get together to make brownies, but she ended up going to a soccer match with Giulia. I didn't really do anything. Like I said, it was a very lazy Sunday.

At around 8, we had dinner and it was a bunch of new food that I have never had before.  I liked some of it, and I didn't like some of it.  I wasn't very hungry tonight either.  Then Janie called and asked if I wanted to go out to dinner with her, Giulia, and Giulia's friends, so I did.  We all went to a chinese restaurant and we talked.  I didn't get anything because I was full, but I did try some of the dishes and they were very good.  Italian chinese food. Hmm.  Then they had dessert and it was fried nutella and fried ice cream.  I had a bite of both, and they were delicious.

It's really weird because movies come out in theaters here about a month or so after they come out in the U.S. and it's because they have to be translated.  So Finding Nemo in 3D is coming out soon and we are going to go see it.  It will be interesting to watch the movie in a different language with different voices.  It will be better than seeing a movie I have never seen though, because I pretty much know most of the words to that movie anyway.

I also forgot to say in my blog that a couple of days ago, Janie and I saw our first truck.  We were sitting on the balcony and a truck drove by and we both jumped up and stared at it as it drove off. We wanted to take a picture, but it turned the corner.  It looked so strange here because all of the cars are small.

Anyway, I need to get to bed because I have to get up early tomorrow :(  On the bright side, I have my first English class! I want to see what it's like for Italians learning English.  It will also be the first class that I fully understand! Hopefully...
