I thought waking up 2 minutes late would throw me off schedule! Today I woke up 6 minutes late and I was checking the clock about every thirty seconds until I finally got back on schedule. When I got to class, I went straight to my private Italian teacher for 2 hours and then I went back to class for physics. I can somewhat follow along in that class, but the teacher doesn't really explain any of the problems and one of my classmates even said that they didn't get it, so I didn't feel too bad. Then I had math class, which is becoming my favorite because it is the easiest to understand, and I was called up to do the homework on the board. It wasn't as scary as I thought it would be because she called on me for an easy problem. I'm starting to feel more accomplished in that class because I can actually do the work without a ton of help, and sometimes without any help at all!
After walking home, we had lunch and I took a nap, about 30 minutes just laying in bed and then another 30 minutes actually asleep. Then Janie came over at 3 and we hung out, skyped with Emma, and talked. Janie has also been dying to throw something from the top of the stairs of an apartment building to the bottom through the middle of the stairs, so we also tried that, and the eraser she dropped landed a floor above where I was standing because it hit the railing. At 6, we went to the chalet and hung out for an hour until I had to walk home. It was the first time walking home by myself!
A little after 7:30, my Rotary counselor picked me up and then we picked up Janie and went to a restaurant to have dinner with the current Rotary club president, the past Rotary club president, and his son. There was a ton of food, and again, I probably ate way more than I should have, but everything was so good! It was also really nice to talk with everybody. I looked at my clock about half way through dinner and it was already 10! At that point, I just wanted to come home because I was exhausted and I'm usually in bed by 10. It also takes me about 20 to 30 minutes to blog and I just want to go to bed. This is why my blog is so short today. But now I may be able to test my theory of going to bed late and seeing if I wake up less tired tomorrow. The nap I took may also help.
Buonanotte!
