I woke up a little late again today (around 7), but not enough to make me rush. I had my cheerios and got ready for school. Around 7:45, Alessio came and got me and we walked to school. It was raining harder than yesterday, but still not enough for me to use my umbrella. When we got to school, I talked a little bit and then the teacher started teaching. I sat there and doodled for 30 minutes and then the Italian teacher came and got me to do private Italian lessons. We worked for about 2 hours until break and then I went back to my class to stay there for the rest of the day.
I was in class for chemistry and I continued to doodle because I couldn't follow what he was doing and then after an hour, the math teacher came in. She wanted me to follow along and do the examples that she put on the board. The examples were mostly about circles, parabolas, and ellipses, which I could do, but then there was other stuff they did that I hadn't learned yet, and it was impossible for me to follow along in Italian.
When school ended, we walked home and I actually used my umbrella this time. I hate walking with an umbrella because everyone had one and it was really hard to walk on the sidewalk without poking someone's eye out. My umbrella also kept hitting the buildings. When we got home, I rang the doorbell and nobody was home so I sat on the stairs to wait, but then Alessio's dad came down the stairs and invited me up to their apartment. I only stayed for about 5 minutes before Lorena showed up and I went back to my room.
We had lunch and I went to my room to take a nap because I could barely keep my eyes open in class today. I slept on and off for about 2 hours and then I got up. At 6, Giovanna came and picked me up and we went to the gym again. We did a step class, which was super difficult because for one, it was in Italian, and two, the combinations of the stepping were super confusing and hard to follow. I eventually got it down though. Then after that class, Giovanna and I did a pilates class, which was relaxing and hard at the same time. Hopefully I'll be sore tomorrow because it makes me feel more accomplished.
I got home at 8:30 and had dinner, took a shower, and now I am going to try to go to bed early for the first time since I've been here, unless I start listening to music or reading, which is what usually happens.
Tomorrow is Saturday! The last day of the week for school! I am going to cherish my Sundays! But tomorrow I don't have any private Italian lessons so I will just have to work on my doodles, or maybe try to learn if we have something like math.
Buonanotte!
